Welcome to Future Lions Education

Established in 2019, Future Lions Education is an alternative education provider delivering accredited vocational programmes, including Functional Skills English and Maths and Level 3 qualifications. We operate structured education programmes supported by internal quality assurance (IQA), ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.

Our longstanding Sports BTEC courses for 16-19 year olds were rated “good” in 2024 by OFSTED and are run in several locations in the midlands region (England) – each within an established football club environment – and students will be able to pick the brains of former professional footballers who are excellent role models and mentors as part of our established staff.

Future Lions Education now also provides alternative provision in Northamptonshire that supports 11-21 year olds with SEND and SEMH needs by balancing an Education programme delivered through sport-based engagement operating from our Earls Barton, Kettering and Wellingborough hubs. We aim to establish a leading reputation in this sector, mirroring the success we have achieved across further and higher education.

All learners access a broad and balanced programme, including:

  • Functional Skills English and maths

  • Accredited qualifications (including employability and vocational pathways)

  • Personal development and life skills

Programmes are aligned to individual starting points and EHCP outcomes where applicable, ensuring each learner is supported to make measurable progress.

Supporting learners to re-engage with education, achieve qualifications, and move forward with confidence.
